DIY Video: Make a Wearable Personal Air Conditioner

If you are anything like me, you enjoy being outdoors. I also enjoy working out in my shop as well. And since most of us can’t afford to air-condition our shops (and since I live in Florida) that means I sweat. A lot. And it also means the threat of heatstroke is real.

Here’s an idea that I might have to try for myself to help me when working in the heat or while hunting in the early season.

Oddly enough, this guy gives a specific material list that’s actually useful and gives good, clear, succinct instructions.

Materials include: a mascot fan, 3″ PVC pipe, 3″ PVC caps, ID plastic hose

He then did an updated version using an insulated backpack and two fans, which looks pretty nice.
