Watch: Making a Wood Stove From Old Wheels

I love free stuff, and I love making things myself instead of buying them. And this guy is very much the same. He often uses low-cost or free materials to build stuff, and in this video he whips up a wood-burning stove out of some old 20″ truck wheels and some scrap steel.

He uses parts from a barrel stove kit, and why not use a 55-gallon drum as the kit was intended? Because steel drums are thin and burn through much more easily than these steel wheels.

Heck, he even added a flat area on top for cooking or heating up metal parts.
