Lowa’s New Boots for 2016 – SHOT Show 2016
Russ Chastain 01.25.16

I like my Lowa boots, and I like to stop in their booth at the SHOT Show to see what new stuff they’ve got. This year there are just a couple models, but they look like winners from here.
The Lowa Ranger III GTX is a men’s boot that’s an update of the Ranger II GTX.
The new rich embossed waxed nubuck upper upgrades the look and feel while the new VIBRAM® Natural outsole offers more comfortable walking while carrying moderate loads over on- and off-trail terrain. This classic one-piece designed boot features a soft cuff and tongue for improved ankle wrap while the GORE-TEX® lining makes it waterproof and breathable. It offers superior heel hold-down and is lighterweight, softer in flex and slightly wider at the ball of the foot than traditional hunting boots. The scree collar, SPS/PU midsole, rubber rand, C-4 tongue and Flex Fit/Tongue Studs complete the package. Offered in medium and wide widths.
The example I looked at had some super-cool ball-bearing lace eyelets–really nice.
MSRP: $300
The Lowa Innox GTX MID TF is also a men’s boot, and the new camo version is Lowa’s first-ever camouflage boot. The actual pattern offered looks different than this pre-production photo, but this will give you an idea anyhow.
LOWA’s popular Innox GTX Mid is now available in digital camo, setting a new standard for stalking and general hunting use. Lightweight synthetic upper for comfort. LOWA’s injected PU sole technology and MONOWRAP® construction for support and stability. Waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® lining. NXT sole for traction and durability.
This looks like a nice light-but-sturdy boot. Waterproof, too.
MSRP: $220
