Maglula’s New UpLULA Colors – SHOT Show 2016

The Maglula Universal Pistol Magazine Loader (UpLULA) is a wonderful thing. It’s been covered here on AllOutdoor before, and I wrote an UpLULA review for another site some years ago. The Israel-based company is run by father-son team Ran and Guy Tal.

Guy Tal is a personable man with an excellent memory and an innovative streak that led him to create some of the best and most useful magazine loaders around, some of which are now being imitated by much larger companies. I make it a point to stop and see Guy whenever I can make it to the SHOT Show, and I did so in 2016.

This year, the company hasn’t added anything very dramatic to its long line of products, but the original UpLULA is now available in four new colors, for a total of six color options.

If you load pistol magazines often, you owe it to your thumb to get an UpLULA. You’d be hard-pressed to find a better loader for 9mm-45 ACP (and some other calibers). Check ’em out.
