Pro-Gun Agenda Petitions Going To White House

The National Association for Gun Rights is asking President Trump to scrub the Obama anti-gun legacy. President Obama attempted to circumvent congress and the due process of law by doing such things as:
Signing the United Nations small arms treaty, Which seeks to regulate the sale of international arms. Do you want the United Nations regulating the firearms we import, or do you want the United States government regulating the import of weapons?
Placing people on no-fly no-buy list. With no due process, the government could place citizens on a list that would block them from buying a firearm.
Banning certain military service members and people on social security from buying firearms.
This is what The National Association for Gun Rights had to say.
The agenda we are sending to Trump is very clear and concise, stating that we insist he take the following steps to ensure the protection of our Second Amendment rights in 2017:
1. Nominate and confirm ONLY a proven pro-Second Amendment U.S. Supreme Court Justice to fill the opening left by the late Justice Antonin Scalia’s death. Another “stealth” nominee like Chief Justice John Roberts could end up interpreting the Second Amendment off the books.2. Remove the United States as a signatory to the U.N. “Small Arms Treaty.” The United States government must reverse the Obama administration’s course and clearly signal 100% opposition to the U.N. “Small Arms Treaty” by removing the U.S. as a treaty signer.
3. Defeat any and all attempts to impose so-called “No-Fly, No Buy” database. This would effectively hand federal bureaucrats the ability to strip law-abiding citizens of their gun rights on a whim. These federal lists are famously rife with errors – including an eight-year-old Cub Scout and even multiple members of Congress.
4. Repeal gun bans targeting military veterans and Social Security recipients. No American should be stripped of their gun rights without due process of law. Not one.
These petitions from NAGR supporters will make it clear to President Trump that these steps should be taken as soon as possible!
