12 New “Smart Chemicals” from Otis That’ll Keep Your Gun Running

Otis is a popular brand of gun cleaning stuff, and they’ve built a strong reputation for innovation. At the 2017 SHOT Show, Otis was showing off something new for them: chemicals for gun cleaning and maintenance. They’ve got quite a few offerings in this new line; here’s a rundown. (Be aware that we haven’t tested any of these products or their claims; this is not a product review.)
MSR/AR Cleaner
This bio-based formula quickly and effectively removes carbon, copper and lead fouling, and is recommended for use on bores, bolt carrier groups, locking lugs and any other areas with fouling buildup.
