Paint With Gunpowder Live Demo and Giveaway March 10, 2017

Remember that great video I posted here a while back, showing the creation of artistic outdoor scenes using gun powder? Sure you do. That Wyoming artist is still at it, and on Friday March 10, 2017, he’s slated to give a live demonstration of his craft. The resulting work of art will be raffled off to benefit wildlife via the Wyoming Wildlife Federation (WWF).

Here’s what the artist Danny Shervin had to say on his Paint With Gunpowder Facebook page:

March 10th solo show update! I am proud to announce that I will be partnering with the Wyoming Wildlife Federation at my upcoming show at Pink Garter Theatre/The Rose.

I will be doing a live demo and completing a full piece from start to burn. I will raffle off the completed piece that night and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to benefit our great state and the animals that call this place home. The proceeds will be directed to their efforts to keep public lands in public hands.

To see some of the great work they have done and continue to do I would encourage you to visit their website: http://wyomingwildlife.org/.

Raffle tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by contacting me via email at [email protected]

*Do not need to be present to win!

Tickets are 1 for $25 or 5 for $100.

Let’s try to raise some funds for a great cause!!

The location of the show, Pink Garter Theatre/The Rose, is called a “bar in Jackson, Wyoming” on their Facebook page. What better place to use fire to create art? (Just kidding, I’m sure he’ll be sober.)

In case you missed it in the quote above, you can buy raffle tickets before the show. $25 buys you one chance in the raffle, or you can get 5 tickets for $100, with all the dough going to WWF. To purchase, contact the artist using this email address: [email protected]

This is bound to be cool. The guy does good work. Best of luck to all who enter this Friday’s raffle!
