Watch: Japanese “Knee Mortar” Grenade Projector

It’s not a gun, but it’s still cool; a Japanese Type 10 grenade launcher from the 1920s and 30s. And like a firearm, it does indeed have a firing pin. The perfect thing for flinging explosive projectiles at your enemies!

This one sold for $4,888 according to the Rock Island website. Impressive, considering the heavy rust pitting on its surface.

The Type 10 packs up into a handy little package. All in all, it’s a clever design.
