Want Free Beer? Go Hiking in a National Forest.

Who likes to drink beer and wander around in the woods — not necessarily in that order? This guy, along with thousands of other folks. And we are being encouraged by Busch Beer to do just that. They’re offering free Busch beer for a year to anyone who finds a medallion in a National Forest and proves that they did.

The promotion was announced a few days ago on their Twitter page, with this blurb:

Want to win free beer for a year?* On 09/25, Busch and @nationalforests are releasing a clue every hour from 12-5 EDT. Each clue has the location of a specially-marked tree. Find it first and you could win! Full rules in our bio. *Cash equivalent in certain states.

They posted yesterday that “Two medallions are still out there waiting to be found. Get to it!”

I must confess I’m not fan of Busch beer… but if you are, maybe it’s time to get out there and start hunting for a medallion! Find one, take it home, and send in photos of you with it (both sides), plus a photo of your photo ID to prove you’re old enough to legally swill suds.

Visit their Twitter feed for clues and more details.
