Gun Prohibition

Let’s just call it what it really is. All the current efforts at promoting new legislation and laws for gun control are as far from their real mission as possible. What liberals are really after is gun prohibition. That means the complete abolition of gun ownership and even the confiscation of all guns. As farfetched as that might seem, it is still their ultimate goal.
Certainly, everybody, gun owner or not, has been profoundly impacted by the many mass shootings that have taken place in this country such as Sandy Hook and the 17 shot at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. This includes the terrorist attack in California and any number of other incidents.
And crime continues to be rampant in this country. Look at the number of shootings and murders in Chicago every week. Home and business invasions, armed robberies, carjacking, assaults, drive by shootings, and all else perpetrated upon everyday citizens. If anything is out of control, it is crime.
Law enforcement and first responders are tasked with our safety, but their wagons are simply overloaded. I can only imagine just how stressful it would be to have to wear a live cam on your uniform just in case something goes south. We forget police are human, too and they make mistakes. It is going to happen. As good as they are though, we cannot always count on their reasonable response to protect us. On the front line, that is our personal responsibility. And to do that requires a suitable means of self-defense. That means a gun.
What Diane Feinstein, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and so many others want is to take all your guns away. All the while they are protected by teams of heavily armed bodyguards. See anything wrong with that picture?
Of course, gun confiscation is a ridiculous concept in America. We don’t even realistically know how many guns reside in private possession. However, prohibition is not as so farfetched. You can bet it is on their radar screens every day.
I love the poster pop ups you get now on Facebook and other sites pointing out that when Presidents Lincoln and Kennedy where assassinated, nobody blamed the gun. It was the shooter(s). Today, the liberal logic is completely butt backwards. As if a gun could load itself, walk out the door, into a school and shoot somebody. Asinine.
So, people, it is not about gun control but prohibition. Call it what it is. Fight back by joining the NRA and other groups that fight for our 2nd Amendment rights, before it is too late.
