[SHOT Show 2020] MagPump Magazine Loader

Loading gun magazines is never as fun as UNloading them. After all, making things go BANG is way more enjoyable than getting sore thumbs, right? Well, what if I told you you didn’t have to get sore thumbs or go to a lot of hassle to load a magazine?

Now that I have your attention, allow me to introduce MagPump. It’s a cool little device I found at the 2020 SHOT Show that will let you basically dump your ammo into a hopper, insert a magazine, and wiggle (or “pump”) a lever for a while until the magazine is full.

Remove magazine, insert empty one, and repeat.

The standard version for 9mm handguns runs $149 and comes with six magazine adapters to fit mags from GLOCK, SIG, Smith & Wesson, Springfield Armory, CZ, and Ruger pistols. More adapters will be available in the future.

The AR model is listed in three versions: Standard ($149.99), Pro ($249.99), and Elite ($399.99).

Rifle MagPumps don’t care which way the bullets face, just as long as they rounds lie side-by-side in the hopper.

They had transparent demo versions at the SHOT Show, but the ones you buy will be all black.

Pistol versions are even less picky about the ammo direction; just dump in 50 rounds, cram in a mag, and start pumping.
