Welcome to today’s Photo of the Day! 300, 000 of these classy six-shooters were produced. All thanks to Hy hunter for proposing the importation and distribution of J.P. Sauer & Sohn’s failed Great Western Arms revolvers. The result was an influx of this Western Six Shooter into the United States. Apparently, around 1964 Hy hunter and his company went through some odd and confusing legal battles (regarding the importation of stuff like machine guns) which resulted in Hy hunter being forced to cease importation and distribution of the Western Six Shooter and any future J.P. Sauer & Sohn products.
