5.11 Tactical was founded in California back in 2003, and many readers may not know this, but they got their start with a simple pair of rock-climbing pants. Moreover, their name comes from the 5.11 difficulty rating for rock climbing. Eventually, the company blossomed and grew into the respectable industry giant we now know today. So, the 5.11 Tactical 20th Anniversary is a momentous occasion as it marks 20 years of serving the military, civilians, and shooting/outdoor community at large.
