NEW Bomba 3.5 and More Spunk Shads from Missile Baits

Missile Baits is dropping the new Bomba 3.5 along with additional offerings of their Spunk Shad soft plastics. Their new Bomba 3.5 is a soft plastic finesse bait, a thick worm with a crawfish pattern body. With this shape, the thing skips like a rocket along the top of the water. An amalgam of a ned rig worm and Senko, the bait looks like a crawfish that’s had a bad day and lost every leg. There is a hook slot molded into the belly of the lure for easy hook sets. The Bombas should mostly be fished in a weightless Texas rig for an erratic fall to the bottom, it will glide, rock, and even slide away from you at times before it reaches the bottom.
“The Bomba 3.5 is a simple bait but extremely deadly because of its subtle action and amazing castability. I love that you can use it on a spinning or bait casting setup, and it is basically snag resistant. It will be used by pros on tour to novices catching their first bass in a pond,” says John Crews, BASS pro angler and Missile Baits owner.
The Bomba 3.5 will be available in 8 colors with some being tried and true Missile Baits colors and others being brand-new colors like Candy Crushed and Green Pumpkin Diablo. They will be packed 6 to a bag and should have a suggested retail price of $5.69 a bag. These baits are great when you need to go finesse but still want something that easily casts a good distance. The Bomba 3.5 should be available to ship out starting July 24th of this year.
Missile Baits is also adding onto its Spunk Shad line of baits to grow its partnership with Hog Farmer Baits. The Spunk Shad 3.5 size option will be added to the existing 4.5 and 5.5 in the same 6 colors plus two more Missile Bait colors. All three sizes options of the Spunk Shads will have the colors Bombshell and Superbug available. These new Spunk Shads should be available starting September 2023.
