[ICAST 2023] Mustad’s NEW AlphaPoint 4.8 Hooks

Mustad is a name known throughout the fishing world, this Norwegian brand has been making fishing hooks since 1877. For ICAST 2023 they have brought out a new line of hooks to continue the legacy of hook excellence they have built, the AlphaPoint 4.8 Hooks. Based on a foundation of premium technologies supported the design and innovation that was rolled into the new AlphaPoint 4.8 hooks. Making for a sharper and even slimmer hook point that is just 4.8 times the wire diameter. The elongated and shallower point angle lets you get deeper, and faster hooksets with just the slightest pressure applied.

The AlphaPoint line of hooks will be available in both freshwater and saltwater models. The freshwater models will come with the TitanX coating, a nano-thin finish that keeps the point of the hooks sticky sharp while the rest of the hook stays super smooth for better penetration. The saltwater hooks will have the Tital Steel Finish, which has 500+ hours of saltwater corrosion resistance, second only to stainless steel. The point angles on these hooks is set at a 21-degree secondary bevel, for optimum durability in the long run. These hooks are available now in limited models and should be rolling out in full soon.
