The Taurus 58 is back from the dead at NRAAM 2025 in Atlanta, Georgia. With the return in popularity of .380 auto, Taurus decided to bring back the PT 58. This little brother of the popular PT 92, a Beretta 92 clone, is an all-metal frame “kinda” compact pistol with a 15-round capacity. The PT 58 comes with a full grip and 4 4-inch barrel, making it very easy to shoot with its extra mass and barrel. The frame itself is made of aluminum, while the slide and barrel are made from stainless steel. The pistol still features its frame-mounted ambidextrous safety/decocker that allows you to carry this double-action/single-action cocked and locked. For the finish options, the Taurus 58, as of now, has black and stainless. The black finish option is black oxide for slide and barrel, and black hard anodizing for the aluminum frame. MSRP for the Taurus 58 is set at $604.99 and should be available soon for purchase in stores and online.
