If you’re like me and you love to hear the ring of steel on the range, but don’t have a ton of money sitting around for an expensive set of steel targets and a bunch of fancy stands, you might want to check out this newest offering from the folks over at Re-Nine Safety. Re-Nine has just introduced their simple and very affordable Steel Target Kit, which includes everything you need to hang and shoot the included AR500 steel gong. This kit is only $125, and can be expanded to accept more gongs simply by adding a longer 2×4 crossbeam – you’ll have to buy that one yourself, though!

If steel targets aren’t your thing or you already have a pretty healthy set of steel to shoot on your range, Re-Nine also sells other targets. Some of these include their really cool “Target Cones,” which I’ve used in the past, and are great to keep in the truck for impromptu range sessions out in the wilds. I’ve also been a huge fan of their Steel Target Stands, which are compatible with 1×2 boards and virtually any piece of cardboard you can find to hang.
