Daiwa’s 2025 LASER IMPACT Switch Hitter – New Look for a Classic Lure

Daiwa is putting some new clothes on their twitchbaits with the new 2025 LASER IMPACT Switch Hitter 85S. This is a a sleek 3-3/4″ baitfish silhouette hardbait that comes with a “tail-sliding” action that has the tail follow the direction of the head, but as the plug slows down the tail moves to the otherside in a natural looking action that sets it up ready to dart again with a twitch of your rod. Additionally, the LASER IMPACT Switch Hitter 85S has a faster-than-average sink rate, making the lure effective in both the shallows for reds and trout on the East Coast, and deep in the kelp at 20ft for calico bass on the West Coast. Finally, inside the tough ABS body of the lure is Daiwa’s LASER IMPACT technology. This is a specialized internal prism that increases the visibility of the lure with a full 360-degree pattern. This lets the lure flash multidirectional flashes to better draw in curious predators. The MSRP for the LASER IMPACT Switch Hitter 85S comes in at $17.99 and should be available soon.
