[ICAST 2025] SEVIIN’s All-NEW GW Series Saltwater Spinning Reels

SEVIIN Reels has come out for this soggy On the Water day at ICAST 2025 in Orlando, Florida, showing off their new saltwater spinning reel offering. The all-new GW Series Saltwater Spinning Reels is the latest addition from SEVIIN. These reels are meant to survive the harsh and corrosive conditions of saltwater use. These spinning reels all feature an IPX5 water-resistant design, with gaskets and seals strategically placed in critical points of the body and spool to keep water out and corrosion at bay. The rotors were designed to eliminate flex and maximize performance with lightweight carbon-poly rotors in the smaller sizes and die-cast aluminum rotors for the larger two sizes to hold up to heavier fish and drag. Speaking of drag, the GW Series Saltwater Spinning reels all come with a multistack carbon fiber/aluminum washer drag stack capable of up to 35 lbs of max drag, depending on the model. This reel is going to be available in 5 sizes – 2500, 3000, 4000, 5000, and 6000 – at an affordable MSRP of $130 to $160, depending on the size of the reel. The SEVIIN GW Series Saltwater Spinning Reels will be available to purchase this September.
