Like everyone else, when I look for ammunition I usually go to ammoseek or gunbot. After a while, you start to realize the same companies are always at the top of the list.
So, let’s take a few minutes and look at each of them.
I went to Ammoseek and did a search for 223 Remington and then looked for a 500 round case. Each website was looked through for contact information, such as physical address and phone number.
Prices listed in the article were current when it was published.

The phone was answered between the first and second ring by a very nice lady. I was put through to a nice gentlemen, who was pleasant to talk to and answered all of my questions.
They have been in business since 2013. The company started out of a garage and have since moved into a warehouse. After speaking to a company representative, I was told they check prices at ammoseek and shop around to offer the lowest prices possible to the consumer.

Of the five companies listed, only one answered the phone with a real person.
Only two listed their physical address.
Sportsman’s Guide had the typical automated answering service with a prompt to reach a certain department.
The only company that answered the phone with a real person and answered my questions without delay was Outdoor Limited.
