Fly Pry’s New Fat Fly hits Kickstarter (Video)

What the heck is a Fly Pry?

Well, in a nutshell, it’s a small bottle opener (hence the “pry”) that you can attach to the zipper (“fly”) of a hoodie, jacket, backpack, or whatever. And it can do more than just open bottles.

Company founder Flavio Pellegrino has this to say about it:

The Fly Pry is a micro multi-tool small enough to be used as a zipper pull. Features a bottle opener, pull tab lifter, pry bar/scraper, 1/4″ hex drive slot and key ring attachment point. Can be used on jackets, backpacks, key chain, lanyards, shoelace, or anywhere you need quick access to this very useful (and small) tool.

These little tools are made in the USA, and they gained traction when he launched via Kickstarter last year. Before it was over, he’d gained more than 600 backers and said that funding exceeded his goal by 1363%.

He’s tweaked his original design and made it larger, christened it The Fat Fly, and is once again seeking orders on Kickstarter.

The Fat Fly is a titanium multi-tool for your fly, but now fatter and with more features. The Fat Fly has over 15+ features/functions and only slightly larger than a quarter. It also features a unique Glow Locator, which will allow you to locate it in the dark.

The glow thing is optional, as you can read on the Kickstarter page.
