Second Giant Gator Tagged From Florida’s St. Johns River

Just before the Florida alligator hunting season ended Nov. 1, another giant lizard was been taken, once again from North Florida’s St. Johns River. This mini-dragon measured 13-feet long and was collected in Volusia County by Deland’s Bill Moody.

This is the second giant gator caught by the Moodys, with the first one even larger at just over 13-feet, and also from the St. Johns River at Lake George.
