RCBS has debuted NEW MatchMaster Competition Die Sets for more than 25 different cartridges for handloaders. These are available in Full Length, Neck Sizing, and Seating configurations so you are able to make the most precise rounds possible for whatever your endeavors might be.
The Full Length Sizing Dies employ an RCBS precision-machined neck bushing so a perfect amount of neck tension occurs on every reload you make. Also, the titanium-nitride coated expander affords the reloader a silky-smooth case extraction and reduced brass buildup on your expander. The RCBS Product Manager, Will Hemeyer, expanded upon these statements:
Both features help reduce the amount of stretch on the case neck.
Also included in the exceptional MatchMaster Full Length Sizing Dies are the unique MatchMaster Competition Seating Die. Once again Will Hemeyer goes on to better explain how the RCBS Competition Seating Die can deliver potentially some of your best reloads yet:
What sets the MatchMaster Seating Die apart from the competition is a bullet-seating window with bullet-retaining system. Simply place the bullet in the window and raise the case into the die to seat the bullet. Couple this with a micrometer-adjustable, free-floating, self-centering bullet-seating stem and the MatchMaster Seating Die is easily the most accurate bullet seating die on the market.
The Neck Sizing Die Set, just like the MatchMaster Full Length Sizing Dies, utilize an RCBS precision-machined neck bushing to apply the perfect amount of neck tension everytime while not changing the body dimensions of spent casings. Similarly again, the MatchMaster Neck Sizing Die incorporates a titanium-nitride coated expander. The set also comes with a MatchMaster Competition Seating Die, with its unique bullet seating window and micrometer-adjustable, free-floating, self-centering bullet-seating stem.
If you prefer only the Seating Die it is also available as a stand-alone product. The specially-designed bullet window reloaders will love since it may put an end to smashed fingers and misaligned bullets. Plus users can fine-tune any load with repeatable precision with the micrometer-adjustable, free-floating, self-centering bullet seating stem.
With everything that RCBS has poured into these new sets of competition dies, what do you think? Is all of the engineering and creative processes worth their asking price (listed below)? Let us know all of your thoughts in the Comments below! We always appreciate your feedback.
