Secret Revealed! SilencerCo’s NEW SCO15 Billet AR-15 Lower Receiver

SilencerCo has been dropping hints over the past couple weeks that they were on the verge of introducing a new product and finally the cat is out of the bag! Their new product is the SCO15 Billet AR-15 Lower Receiver! This is something that is completely machined in-house by SilencerCo and is designed for use with a standard Mil-Spec Lower Parts Kit (LPK) and Buffer Assembly. The rest of the specifications can be read below as presented by SilencerCo:

  • 7075 Billet Aluminum, Type III Hard-Anodized
  • Integral Ambidextrous Anti‑Rotation QD Sling Cups
  • 17-4 Stainless, 3D-Printed, Proprietary, Ambidextrous Bolt-Catch/Release (Included, but Not Installed)
  • Enlarged, Integral Trigger guard
  • Flared Magazine Well
  • 45° – 90° Safe-Fire Selector Window Markings for Short-Throw Fire Selectors
  • Rear Tensioner Bolt Hole (Bolt Not Included)


The SilencerCo AR-15 Lower Receiver is made from billet 7075-T6 aluminum, it is precision machined for compatibility with all of your preferred parts. The lower receiver is finished in a type III hardcoat anodize for added durability and corrosion resistance. The new design includes a proprietary ambidextrous bolt catch, integrated enlarged trigger guard, and ambidextrous multi-position sling swivels as well as various other features. With the SilencerCo Billet AR-15 receiver, you get the materials, finish, and features you want and need to complete your dream AR-15 build.

The current MSRP of the SilencerCo SCO15 Billet AR-15 Lower Receiver is benchmarked at $249 and is exclusively available at Brownells, Capitol Armory, and Silencer Shop. With the current state of affairs of the US with everything being on short supply from reloading components to ammunition to AR-15s, it could not be better timing for SilencerCo to bring us another quality option in a lower receiver to build up a rifle or pistol.
