Federal Premium Expands Swift Scirocco II Line of Hunting Ammunition

Federal Premium has a wide variety of ammunition that is geared directly toward hunting. They have been expanding these product lines and adding more caliber options for shooters. The latest to receive some additional calibers is Federal’s Swift Scirocco II line now to include .224 Valkyrie, 350 Legend, and .450 Bushmaster.

New Calibers in the Swift Scirocco II Line of Hunting Ammunition
The Swift Scirocco II line of hunting ammunition uses a proprietary polymer tip to improve terminal ballistics. This is also meant to aid in reliable expansion at longer ranges. They use a secant ogive bullet shape to reduce drag and maximize the ballistic coefficient. The bullet uses a lead core which is bonded with a copper jacket. This line of ammunition is also available in .270 Win Short Mag, .30-06 Springfield, .300 Win Mag, 7mm Rem Mag, 6.5 Creedmoor, .243 Win, .308 Win, .300 Win Short Mag, and .270 Win.
