CZ Adds NEW P-10 F Competition-Ready Pistol to P-10 Series

CZ’s acclaimed striker-fired pistol series, the P-10, has been expanded yet again. The newest model is called the P-10 F Competition-Ready, and not surprisingly is geared to competition. Like its predecessors, it is chambered for 9mm Luger. The P-10 F has a 5″ barrel which is a half-inch longer than the full-size version. The slide sports a fiber optic front sight and fixed, serrated rear sight. In keeping with today’s trend of optics-ready slides with built-in consumer choice, the milled slide can be fitted with a selection of plates to accommodate the “footprint” mounting pattern of the most common full-size pistol optics.

Apex Tactical components are featured heavily throughout the P-10 F. CZ adopted their extended magazine catch, extended slide stop, and back-slide cover. The trigger is made by HB Industries. The company also claims the P-10 F’s chamber is match grade with “improved geometry” for reliable, accurate performance.

In competition, there’s no reason not to attract a little attention based on appearance. CZ stepped up with the P-10 F model in that department. Gold tone trim on the barrel slide cover, trigger, and mag bases (the latter made by Henning Group) provide for a bit of flair. As is true for other P-10 series guns, the P-10 F model comes with a choice of three interchangeable backstraps. Also, two 19-round magazines are included with 10-round mags being available for separate purchase to make the gun acceptable for certain jurisdictions of intolerance.

The new gun is manufactured in CZ’s Kansas City, Missouri factory for distribution to the American CZ customer. In this regard, CZ appears to be following the lead of many other European-originated gun makers that have set up operations in the United States. Right now the MSRP for the P-10 F is benchmarked at $999.
