Bubba Introduces NEW Tidal Rods for In-Shore Fishing

Bubba has released their new line of Tidal Inshore Fishing Rods. Best known for their line of fillet knives, Bubba has now entered the market for fishing rods. The Tidal Rods have three models available: the Tidal, Tidal Select, and Tidal Pro. All three come in both spinning and casting configurations.

Bubba Tidal – MSRP $139.99

This is the base model of the Tidal line of rods, available in six sizes for casting rods and seven sizes for spinning rods. The Tidal series comes with stainless steel line guides, skeletonized split reel seat, offset snag-free hook keeper, bubba style non-slip split grips, and a 24 ton Toray Graphite construction blank. They also come with a 5-year warranty.

Bubba Tidal Select – MSRP $199.99

The next step up from the base Tidal rods – the Tidal Selects – are available in 4 sizes for casting rods and ten sizes for spinning rods. The Tidal Select series comes with Fuji BJ Concept-O guides, a Fuji Graphite TVS reel seat, offset double-loop snag-free hook keeper, full-length bubba style non-slip grips, and a 24/30 ton Toray Graphite construction blank. These rods come with a lifetime warranty.

Bubba Tidal Pro – MSRP $329.99

The top-of-line rods for the Tidal Rods – the Tidal Pro – is the best they have to offer. Available in two sizes for casting rods, and six sizes for the spinning rods. The Tidal Pro series comes with the Fuji K-Guide System, Fuji graphite TVS reel seats, Carbon Fiber handle, Bubba style non-slip handle end, and a 30 ton Toray Graphite construction blank. These rods come with a lifetime warranty.

On the whole, these rods on paper look to be made of high-quality components, and put well together. They have stated they had their in-house team of designers work with captains and guides from coast-to-coast. Let’s just hope that they are as nice on the water as they are on paper. This is still their first venture into fishing rods, but I’ll be glad if my abundance of caution is for nothing. You can check out the Bubba rods and other products at www.bubba.com
