Checking out the NOEoutdoors Fishing Expo this weekend I found a neat new product for the kayak anglers in our audience. Space in a fishing kayak is always at a premium and so usually a lot of the rod holders end up being behind you as you fish, with you getting maybe a single rod holder in the center in front of you. The Dual Action Rod Troller – D.A.R.T. is a new product that aims to make your life easier, especially for kayak anglers who do a lot of trolling or set lines. This is an attachment that fits into most styles of external swiveling rod holders to give you two additional rod holders that are easily adjustable. As well as a platform to either keep the supplied tackle box or as a mounting platform to add other accessories such as electronics, camera mounts, or even another rod holder. All of these can be mounted to the existing holes in the accessory body, so no drilling is required.
The Dual Action Rod Troller – D.A.R.T. is made in the USA from injection-molded HFPE, while the tackle box lid is made of UV-resistant and durable urethane. The supplied tackle box lid also comes with magnets built in so you can easily just have it open partially so your tackle is easily securable as you fish.
