[NRAAM 2025] A 25 for 2025 – Hornady’s 25 Creedmoor

Hornady has introduced a brand new caliber for NRAAM 2025 in Atlanta, Georgia, with the new 25 Creedmoor. This is a recently SAAMI-accepted rifle cartridge that joins the Creedmoor family to fit the niche between the 6mm Creedmoor and the 6.5 Creedmoor, so as some would say, “Same same but different”. It uses the same proven pedigree as the 6.5 Creedmoor for its design to give it excellent and repeatable accuracy. Delivering exceptional ballistic performance, with minimal wind deflection and really low felt recoil for the shooter. This round offers shooters a versatile option for hunting, competitive shooting, and extreme long-range shooting, which builds upon its “siblings” positive reputations.

Hornady Coverage on Alloutdoor

Hornady will be offering the 25 Creedmoor in two options for loaded cartridges initially, with a 128-gr ELD-X Precision Hunter loading and a 134-gr ELD Match loading, with additional loadings to possibly be added as demand dictates. Additionally, for all the reloaders out there, Hornady also has all the reloading essentials, such as dies, cases, and projectiles, available for those shooters who like to roll their own match ammo. As of now, expect 25 Creedmoor to cost around $2 per round, just like 6.5 Creedmoor, and it is available for purchase now.
