Watch: Fishermen Thrown From Boat at 55 MPH

This one hits close to home for me. I live with an hour’s drive of the University of Florida and less than a mile from prime bass fishing territory. Believe me when I tell you that the current can be swift (and the real-life gators can get hungry) on the rivers and other waterways in Florida and Georgia.

This video shows some members of UF’s bass fishing team being thrown into the water from from their bass boat at 50-55 MPH, and it helps demonstrate the value of a good, reliable MOB kill switch.

Here’s hoping this never happens to you or me!
