Blazer Brass 9mm Lead-Free Clean-Fire: A Lead Alternative
Nicolas Lenze 01.05.22
The use of lead in ammunition has been on a pretty steady decline for the past few years. What seemed to start as a political encroachment on firearms owners quickly evolved into something else. Hunters stayed away from lead to keep from ingesting it, and due to promising performance shown by other materials. As someone who shoots a lot, I imagine a lot of us just realized that the potential for lead exposure just isn’t worth doing things the old way. CCI Blazer is now introducing a lead-free option for 2022. Introducing Blazer Brass Lead-Free Clean-Fire.

Hit the range and leave without a trace. New Blazer® Brass Lead-Free Clean-Fire® provides consistent, accurate performance on targets without leaving any lead behind on the range itself or in the air. It uses the lead-free Clean-Fire primer and flat-nose, lead-free projectiles that are as safe and accurate as traditional FMJ bullets—through all guns and against all targets.
Blazer Brass 9mm Lead-Free Clean-Fire
Blazer Brass Lead-Free Clean-Fire seeks to reduce the shooter’s exposure to lead, as well as keep as much lead out of the ground as possible. The projectiles are 100% lead-free and safe to use in all of your 9mm firearms. The Clean-Fire primers are also absent of any lead. The rounds have a flat nose and are as accurate as traditional full metal jacket ammunition. These would be ideal for shooters who spend most of their range time indoors.
