Steelhead Outdoors has introduced their latest new product for 2024 in the Scout 25 High Security Gun Cabinet which is now available. This is a product that can incorporate other offerings from Steelhead Outdoors like their Case Keeper and Bow Keeper complimentary accessories. The Scout 25 High Security Gun Cabinet has an MSRP of $1,600 and ships for $150 in the lower 48 United States.

The Scout 25 comes in Badlands Brown with Recon Black accents and measures 25” wide x 60 “ tall x 15” deep. It features an inline 9-gun rack and a full width, adjustable steel shelf. It is customizable with additional shelves, door organizer panels, and other accessories such as the Steelhead Outdoors 15” Case Keeper or Bow Keeper. It ships in 4 boxes, 6 panels – with the heaviest panel weighing only 60 lbs. so it’s easily assembled by one person. The completed cabinet weighs 175 lbs.

Built with 14-gauge steel and patent-pending vertical beam locking technology, the high security Scout 25 gun cabinet offers features not found anywhere else. A high-quality, UL listed Sargent and Greenleaf Spartan lock is protected by a single layer hard plate. The vertical beam locking technology positions the ¼” carriage on end and is fully supported to prevent bending, offering increased security over traditional bolts or bars floating behind a sheet metal door jamb. The locking carriage has 8 locking points that will lock every few inches along the door and each locking point engages with 8 reinforced slots to thwart pry attacks. For comparison, competitors’ products have simple 3-point mechanisms where they lock on the top and bottom with a small rod and lock in the middle with a rotating mechanism.
With the Scout series high security gun cabinets, firearms owners get modular, multi-panel, flexible construction with American steel and high-quality components. Because the Scout is assembled onsite, it can fit in places a traditional safe could never go. It can also function as an ammo cabinet when outfitted with Steelhead’s shelving kit instead of the 9-gun rack.
