[NRAAM 2025] The Nova 3 – An Ultralight Shotgun from Benelli

Benelli is here in Atlanta, Georgia, for the NRA Annual Meeting with their new lightweight shotgun, the Benelli Nova 3. This is the next generation of Nova pump shotguns from Benelli that has been lightened as much as possible by using new advanced polymer tech and innovative Poly-Mod construction to make a purely polymer receiver. This, along with reducing the chambering from a 3 1/2″ to 3″, has allowed a little over a pound of weight to be removed from the new Nova 3 shotguns. Additionally, to deal with the increased felt recoil from the Nova 3 being lighter, Benelli is using a new Aircell construction recoil pad that keeps the recoil manageable for long days of shooting.

Additionally, the Nova 3 comes with several other features like the famous M4 bolt-face, a magazine cutoff button under the forend, and a red-bar front sight. MSRP for the hunting models starts at $529 and goes up to $629 for the camo finish options, they are all available now for purchase.
