Watch: Awesome Homemade Machine Pulling Up Dead Trees

We’ve looked at super stump grinders and pulling a stump with a 5-ton truck. But what about just yanking them up out of the ground?

That’s where this impressive machine comes in. This machine drives up to a trimmed stump in an orchard, gloms onto it, and simply pulls it up by the roots. And it ain’t slow! Then it yanks two more trees out of the ground for good measure.

Admittedly, the trees are not huge and don’t seem to have tap roots that go straight down, but this is still an awesome display of mechanical performance.
