Meopta Optics Launch NEW Upgraded Binocular Line, MeoPro HD Plus

Meopta Optics just introduced a new line of binoculars – the MeoPro HD Plus – which is an extension from the MeoPro HD line. The new MeoPro HD Plus binoculars will be offered in 8x56mm, and 10x42mm which were also options in the first HD generation, but this new generation is said to have upgraded components; namely, in the lens coatings and focus wheel. Meopta’s full press release and specifications can be seen below.

Meopta Sport Optics is pleased to introduce the new MeoPro HD Plus binoculars. This completely redesigned Gen 2 version of the award-winning MeoPro binocular line is available in 10×42 HD and 8×56 HD models.

Featuring a more advanced HD optical system, the MeoPro HD Plus binoculars deliver sharper, brighter images and better contrast and resolution than the Gen 1 models. Hunters will also appreciate the edge-to-edge clarity, wide field of view, and outstanding low-light performance in this mid-priced line.

The focus wheel has been redesigned for a smoother, faster, and more precise focus. The modern exterior design, with durable rubber armoring, provides a better and more comfortable grip in all weather conditions. The lightweight magnesium alloy body is built to withstand the most brutal hunting conditions and is tripod adapter ready. Twist-up eyecups are metal with a soft rubber exterior, making them extremely durable and comfortable while eliminating the risk of breakage. They are also designed for easy removal and cleaning.

“We wanted to bring in certain elements of our higher-end binoculars to this mid-priced MeoPro line for an improved user experience,” said Jaroslav Doseděl, Global Head of Meopta Sport Optics. “The new optical system and advanced lens coatings deliver outstanding low-light performance that hunters have come to expect from Meopta, and additional upgrades to this new MeoPro HD Plus line improve handling, comfort, and overall performance in the field.”

Meopta’s MeoShield anti-abrasion lens coating offers added protection to exterior lenses while the MeoDrop hydrophobic lens coating easily repels rain. The diopter adjustment is located under the right eyepiece. Both models are nitrogen purged, shockproof, and fully sealed for fogproof and waterproof performance in the most demanding conditions. Like all Meopta optics sold in the United States, they are backed by Meopta’s Lifetime Transferrable Warranty.

Meopta’s new MeoPro HD Plus line is new enough that neither model is listed on their website, and there’s only one photo thus far, but you can check back with them shortly at MeoptaSportOptics.eu or see their other binoculars, rifle scopes, and spotting scopes. You can also follow Meopta on their social media accounts, such as Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube to stay in tune with the products they offer. The 10x42mm binocular will have an MSRP of $499, and the 8x56mm model will list for $749. What do you think about the new MeoPro HD Plus’ specs? If you’re in the market for a new binocular, will this make your list?
