Sierra Bullets has announced the next evolution in the MatchKing series of reloading bullets with the MatchKing-X (MKX) bullet. This bullet is not only going to group on paper for you, but this is a bullet that you can handload, take into the field with you, and be confident that you can down the wild game that you are pursuing.

Sierra Bullets MatchKing-X (MKX): The Next Evolution of the MatchKing
Right now, Sierra Bullets does not have MSRPs benchmarked for this new class of bullets, but I’m sure that will come very soon. These bullets are going to be available in .264, .270, and .30 cal diameters in 4 unique grain weights. All of these available bullets as well as a word from Sierra Bullets on the new MatchKing-X (MKX) can be read below:
- 6.5mm 142 Grain
- .270 cal 135 Grain
- .30 cal 175 Grain
- .30 cal 200 Grain

The new MatchKing-X is estimated to be available sometime during Q2 of this year. The MatchKing-X is going to tout softer lead cores compared to traditional MatchKings to enhance expansion at lower velocities, ensuring long-range performance all while maintaining the same proven accuracy of the original MatchKing.
